Ammonia Safety
This course provides training on handling anhydrous ammonia safely. No one should work around ammonia without understanding the hazards, behavior, and necessary safety precautions. We can cover ammonia in agriculture and transportation or in industrial settings or in refrigeration systems. This class will teach applicable health and safety exposure limits, handling considerations, health effects and first aid, regulatory requirements related to the specific operation, and personal protective equipment needs.
